IPTV Setup Guide — Every Device, Step by Step
A tech-savvy walkthrough for getting EvesTV running on Firestick, Fire TV, Android, iOS, Smart TV, PC, and set-top boxes — using the current IBO app builds and Downloader codes pulled straight from ibo.al, the official Ibosol app store. No fluff, just the exact codes, links, and screens you'll hit.
Three Things to Have Ready
Your EvesTV Login
Your MAC address / device key gets activated after checkout, and your M3U or Xtream Codes login (URL, username, password) arrives by email within minutes of subscribing.
5 Minutes, Any Device
Every method below takes under 5 minutes once you have your login. Smart TVs and iOS are app-store installs; Firestick/Android need one extra sideloading step.
A Stable Connection
25 Mbps+ wired or 5GHz Wi-Fi is plenty for 4K. If you plan to use the Premium Server for 8K/multi-room, hardwire the streaming device where possible.
Tap a Device to Expand the Steps
Every guide below uses a current IBO-family player. Codes are entered into the free Downloader app (by AFTVnews) on Fire TV / Android TV, or opened directly in the App Store / TV app store elsewhere.
On the Fire TV home screen, go to Find → Search, type Downloader, and install the free app by AFTVnews.
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options (if hidden, tap About → click your device name 7 times first), then turn ON Apps from Unknown Sources for the Downloader app.
Open Downloader, select the URL field, and enter the code for your preferred player from the table below (e.g. IBO Player Pro).
Press Go, wait for the APK to download, then select Install when prompted, and Delete the APK afterward to free up space.
Open the app, note the Device ID / MAC address shown on screen (needed if activating manually), then load your EvesTV M3U/Xtream Codes URL from the app's login or settings screen.
New Fire TV on Vega OS? Amazon's newest Fire TV software (Vega OS) does not support sideloading or the Downloader app at all. If your device won't run Downloader, use an older Fire TV model, an Android TV box, or install a player straight from the Amazon Appstore instead.
Fastest route: open the Play Store and search "IBO Player" / "IBO Player Pro" — most IBO-family apps are published there for Android TV and mobile.
Sideload route (Android TV/boxes without Play Store access): install Downloader from the Play Store, enable Install unknown apps for it in Settings → Apps, then enter a code from the table below.
On phones/tablets you can also open ibo.al directly in Chrome, tap the Android tile, and download the APK straight to your device — no Downloader app needed.
Open the installed app and enter your EvesTV playlist URL (M3U) or Xtream Codes server/username/password from your welcome email.
Open the App Store directly on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV (same app works across all three — tvOS/iOS/iPadOS).
Search and install one of: IBO Player, IBO Player Pro, or ibo Pro Player — links below go straight to the listings.
Open the app, use the free 7-day in-app trial screen to confirm it's working, then head to the app's playlist/login screen and enter your EvesTV M3U or Xtream Codes details.
Try the built-in store first: open the LG Content Store or Samsung Apps on your TV and search "IBO Player." Newer webOS and Tizen sets often list it directly.
Not listed? Open your TV's built-in web browser and go to ibo.al, then select the LG & Samsung TV or VidaaOS / Old Samsung category — ibo.al serves a build matched to your exact TV OS version, since LG/Samsung app packages differ by model year.
Follow the on-screen install prompt (usually a QR code or PIN pairing step for these TV platforms), then open the app and enter your EvesTV login.
No app store on your TV? Plug in a Firestick, Fire TV Cube, or Android TV box instead — it's the most reliable way to get a full IBO-family player on an older or budget Smart TV.
Go to ibo.al in your desktop browser and choose the Windows, MacOS, or Linux category to get the correct installer for your OS and CPU architecture (Apple Silicon vs. Intel matters on Mac).
Run the installer. On Mac you may need to allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security since it isn't notarized by Apple.
Open the app and load your EvesTV M3U/Xtream Codes URL — or skip a dedicated app entirely and open your M3U URL directly in VLC (Media → Open Network Stream) for a lightweight, universal option on any OS.
Roku: Roku's OS doesn't allow sideloading. Search the Channel Store for an IPTV/M3U-compatible channel (availability varies), or cast/mirror from a phone or PC running a player instead.
MAG / Formuler boxes: these use portal-based activation, not APK installs. In the box's Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals, enter your EvesTV portal URL and MAC address exactly as sent in your welcome email.
Enigma2 (Vu+, Dreambox, etc.): install an IPTV plugin (e.g. via the plugin browser), then add your Xtream Codes or M3U details under the plugin's playlist settings.
Not sure which of these you have? Message support with a photo of your device — we'll confirm the exact activation path and portal/MAC info for your box.

A Few Things That Trip People Up
IPTV setup is simple once you've done it once, but a handful of small details cause most support tickets. Here's what actually matters for a clean, buffer-free setup on any device.
- One player, one login. You only need a single IBO-family app, TiviMate, or IPTV Smarters Pro per device — installing several at once just wastes storage and causes confusion about which one is logged in.
- Codes expire and rotate. Downloader codes on ibo.al point to the current APK build, so a code that worked last month may 404 after an update — always re-check ibo.al if a code fails.
- Match your server to your quality. If you're seeing buffering in 4K/8K or during live sports, switch to the Premium Server on your EvesTV plan — it's built for exactly that load.
- VPNs can interfere. A handful of VPN exit servers block APK download domains outright — briefly disconnect while installing, then reconnect once the app is running if you use one.
